On the Validity of Illusion (and its attractions) – a guide was made to accompany a video of the same name. The drawing was meant to orient the viewer as to the meaning of the discrete scenarios and constructed props that appear in the video. It also pays homage to the way in which early pre-narrative cinema was billed—as a series of acts, tricks or attractions.
