Monologues I: patriarchal traditions and the New Age sets out to synthesize a field of research through the development of objects, drawings, and video that revolve around a series of iterative lectures. The project tracks a feminine struggle for legitimacy, especially as it pertains to spiritual authority. My interest is in being able to understand the ‘New Age’ beyond the usual polemic.
